The Maryland Commission on Human Relations offers mediation services to both Complainants and Respondents involved in charges of discrimination filed in any of our statewide offices. The Mediation Unit of the Maryland Commission on Human Relations manages a roster of volunteer mediators throughout the State. To become an MCHR volunteer mediator, you must be available to mediate at least once a month during regular business hours Monday – Friday. The MCHR does not conduct mediations during evening, weekend, or holiday hours. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer mediator or getting more information regarding the volunteer mediation program, please complete the Volunteer Application and/or contact Tara Taylor, Mediation Director, at 410-767-6459.
