To become a volunteer mediator for MCHR, you must be available to mediate at least once a month for a minimum of a one year contract period.  Mediations are not held on evening or weekend hours.  Although mediators will only be scheduled to mediate during regular business hours Monday – Friday, your availability and schedule are taken into account when scheduling cases.  Mediators with previous training and experience are preferred, however MCHR does provide training for some applicants.
